The Betta Splendens Club has been created to respond to the needs of betta owners in NSW. Currently, there are two International Betta Congress affiliated clubs in Australia, the Brisbane Betta Breeders Club (BBB) in QLD and Victoria Betta. Both these clubs hold an annual show for members and non-members which encourages a greater appreciation of these beautiful fish and how to care for them.
It is the intention of the Betta Splendens Club to seek affiliation with the IBC at our earliest opportunity and hopefully work towards a show after this is achieved.
Members are encouraged to post to the Facebook club page. Meetups events will be organised, and as an added bonus for new members, the welcome pack will include discount vouchers for a number of retail outlets and suppliers.
